Yesterday marked the first offical day of spring and as much as I’d love to be packing away my coats and jackets in preparation for warmer weather I am unfortunately not. Glasgow seems to pretend its a spring day outside but then it starts raining! Oh well if I cant wear all the clothes I want right now at least I can imagine and dream of what I would be wearing if I had the weather (and the money).

I am really loving Ganni for this spring and summer, last year their collection was amazing and I love these semi sheer floral roll necks. A roll neck is essential for a Scottish winter but can also be the perfect transitional piece paired with a lightweight duster coat or jacket.

Another key item I can sense will be a trend this upcoming season is the midi/ button down denim skirts. This one by Alexander McQueen is the perfect shade of cream/ white meaning it would be a super versatile piece in anyones spring wardrobe not to mention this length of skirt looks great with mules, pumps, trainers and boots!

Lets talk about these sling back croc effect pumps from By Far. These are an essential in anyones spring wardrobe and you can pick up extremely similar pairs in many high street stores. I love shoes with a little heel as being 5ft 5 sometimes its nice to have that extra boost to make me feel a bit more confident.

Last but not least this bag by Shrimps is simply amazing. I love how it reminds me of hama beads, although I could never make anything that impressive. Shrimps is such a unique brand I love how they manage to pull of putting a childlike spin on all their products but they do it with so much class and sophistication.

Anyway thats my dose of vitamin C for the day, until next time!

disclosure; I do not own any of these photos
